Thank you for your letter dated August 2, 2007 (received August 9, 2007) requesting a copy of the
application for the Dillsboro dam removal project. The enclosed CD is that application as well as our on hold
letter and Duke Power's response which made the application complete.
As you know, we have planned to hold a public hearing for this project and will be sending out a formal
announcement to the local papers soon as well as to our 401 Certification mailing list. However the hearing
has been scheduled for September 25, 2007 from 6 to 10 pm at Western Carolina University in the Ramsey
Center although we do not have an exact room number yet.
