No encroachment into the wetlands will occur. Both the property owner and the construction team have been notified 
and will adhere to this project adjustment.

Hello Mrs. Huffman, 

The additional information for the subject project has been reviewed.  
As discussed over the phone, the “drainage area” is seemly a wetland. Impacts to wetlands of this nature cannot be 
authorized under Water Quality Certification 4502. If you wish to seek authorization for impacts to wetlands, please 
utilized the Preconstruction Notification application process.  

If you wish to seek authorization for the shoreline stabilization work, and no impacts to wetlands, please revise your 
impact calculates and provide a statement that no encroachment into wetlands will occur. Please note, all wetlands 
located within 50 feet of the construction area on the project site shall be clearly marked (example‐ orange fabric 
fencing) prior to any land disturbing activities and all marking must be maintained on the property until the project 
phase is completed.
