Dear Mr. Krauss:
The Division of Water Quality Washington Regional Office with the approval of WQ0024584 issued November
18, 2004 is unable to approve any additional applications to expand the wastewater collection system for Bay
River Metropolitan Sewerage District{BRMSD). Our records show that BRMSD has no more wastewater flow
capacity to allocate.
Please be advised that the construction of a wastewater collection system extension without a valid permit is a
violation of North Carolina General Statute 143-2151 North Carolina General Statute 143r215.6 allows for the
issuance of civil penalties of up to S25,000 per day per violation of NCGS 143.2151
