Action Item: Request Approval to Proceed to the EMC for Adoption of a Technical Correction to a Citation in 15A NCAC 02L .0509 (DWM) Carin Kromm Explanation: The Division of Waste Management requests approval to proceed to the Environmental Management Commission for adoption of a technical correction to a citation in 15A NCAC 02L .0509(b) “Notification Requirements”. Rule .0509(b) references Rule .0507(e) of that Section, however the citation should be to Rule .0507(f) after the rule was re-lettered during readoption in 2019. The correction falls under G.S. 150B-21.5(a)(3) as a circumstance where the agency is not required to publish the notice in the Register, hold a hearing, or submit the amended rule to the Rules Review Commission. Recommendation: The Division recommends that the GWWMC approve the technical correction to the citation in 15A NCAC 02L .0509(b) to proceed to the EMC for adoption.
