Here's some guidance: This plan must be developed to ensure that a minimum of four native hardwood tree species and native shrub species, where no species is greater than 50 percent of stems. This vegetation plan must ensure a standard of 260 trees per acre at maturity in Zone 1. This plan must include the types of native woody vegetation selected, methodology of planting, and a site map indicating the location of the replanting efforts. Zone 2 must remain vegetated at all times; however, vegetation can consist of shrubs, grass and trees. I just noted that " native grass species will be replanted and buffers outside of the permanent maintenance easement will be reestablished". Please let me know if I need to prepare anything more specific. I may have missed it somewhere in the application, but do you have any sort of mitigation plan showing the area that will be planted with native species, those species proposed, planting density, and timeframe for planting? Let me know and thank you. No buffer credits are available in the Jordan. I reached out to the City and they suggested proposing on -site mitigation for this one. Is on -site buffer mitigation being proposed because there aren't any buffer mitigation credits available in this part of the Cape Fear River Basin? Just let me know when you get a chance and thank you.
