1, Bryan F. Blake, as a duly registered Professional Engineer in the State of
North Carolina, having been authorized to observe (period ally/woekly/full time) the
construction of the modifications and improvements to the Durham County Triangle
WWTP, located on NC Highway 55 in Durham County for the County of Durham.
hereby state that, to the best of my abilities, due care and diligence was used in the
observation of the following construction:
Installation of a 0.5 million gallon recycle stream flow equalization basin, a
recycle stream flow equalization basin pump station with dual 800 gpm pumps
and flow meter, two (2) 500,000 gallon sludge holding tanks. a dewatering
system to include three (3) centrifuges each with a 175 gpm sludge feed rate (2
duty and 1 stand-by), and a sludge truck loading facility, in conformity with the
project plans, specifications, and other supporting data subsequently filed and
approved by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.
I certify that the construction of the above referenced project was observed to be built
within substantial compliance and intent of the approved plans and specifications.
The Contractor is currently working to complete final paving and punch list items such
that the final certification can be issued.
