Good afternoon Mr. Pankuuk,
As was discussed at April 26, 2022 interagency scoping meeting, the Division of Coastal Management
(DCM) is the "umbrella' agency that would circulate your request and application to make
improvements to the Carolina Beach Pier. The DCM circulates a completed CAMA major permit
application to the State and Federal Agencies for review, comment and authorization. The DWR
does not review requests independent of that process, therefore the DWR is placing you project on
hold until a complete major permit application detailing the work has been circulated for review
