Subject: Construction COC Modification Not Approved
This email is to notify you that your request to modify coverage under COC No. NCC205029 for the project Kennard
Residence was not approved for the following reason:
This is a final close-out for the project. Permittee should submit a Notice of Termination request instead so the NPDES
permit can be concluded: https://edocs.deq.nc.gov/Forms/NCG01-Termination
If you have any questions, please contact The NC DEMLR Stormwater Program at (919) 707-3640.

Importance: High
Good morning,
We reviewed this modification request and noticed that it is a close-out of the entire project (not just some lots of a
project that will continue). Therefore you need to submit a Notice of Termination (NOT) request instead of a
Modification request. (Otherwise the permit will remain active — only information will be added to it).
Please submit a Notice of Termination (NOT) request here:
https://edocs.deg.nc.gov/Forms/NCG01-Termination
I have attached the final inspection documentation that you'll need to upload with that request, along with the NOT
Certification form that is also required. If you have any questions about the process, please let Paul Clark know.
I will go ahead and reject the Modification request so you can submit the NOT request.
Best regards,
Bethany Georgoulias (she/her)

To Mrs. Michelle Kennard,
On October 3, 2022 personnel of the Lincoln County Natural Resources Department inspected
the above —named project located in Lincoln County, NC. This inspection was performed to
determine compliance with the Lincoln County Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control Ordinance

land -disturbing activity of approximately 1_5 acres has been completed. With this final approval,
you are granted the option to remove any or all of the temporary erosion control measures on the

you are required to notify the Lincoln County Natural Resources Department for approval before
the land -disturbing activity begins.
It is our understanding that Michelle Kennard was responsible for this land -disturbing activity. The
purpose of this letter is to inform you that this activity was found to be in compliance with the
Lincoln County Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control Ordinance and the North Carolina
Sedimentation Pollution Control Act of 1973 and the site has been stabilized. Please visit
