Section A.1 b. has been updated to include both NP 13 and NP 18. The Site #3 phase 2 section cannot be limited to natural channel design or bank stabilization only due to the significant elevation difference here: For Site #3 Phase 2, a proposed drainage structure (manhole) and outlet pipe are necessary to address the vertical drop from the existing stormwater pipe outlet elevation to the existing elevation of the adjacent channel. This existing vertical drop has eroded (and continues to erode) over time due to the hydraulic energy released by the water cascading from the perched pipe. In order to protect the channel from this erosive force, the vertical drop will be contained within the proposed drainage structure. The outfall pipe will be utilized to direct Message and contain the flow in its proposed direction. An outfall stabilization pad Text: constructed of rip -rap is proposed to dissipate remaining energy from the flow. The stabilization pad will be constructed so that the top elevation of the rip -rip will coincide with the proposed elevation of the channel bottom. The temporary and permanent Jordan buffer impacts at Site #3 have also been quantified by Zone 1 and Zone 2 in the attached PCN and revised Permit Drawings by NP 18 and NP 13.
