Everything looks good except for a few small issues: Please correct the following: - Prior Comment 8 – Average depth calculation/minimum main pool surface area. Per the provided information (Permanent pool volume = 45,201 cf, Maximum depth over the shelf = 0.5 ft, Perimeter of the shelf = 512 ft, Width of the submerged part of the shelf = 3 ft, & Area of the main pool at the bottom of the shelf = 8,251 sf) results in an average depth of 5.4 ft (Average depth = (45,201 cf – (0.5 * 0.5 ft * 512 ft * 3 ft)) / 8,251 sf = 5.4 ft) and an average depth value of 6.0 ft is used in the calculations/shown in the Supplement-EZ Form. You can interpolate values from the SA/DA table based on the actual calculated values (as was done with the %Impervious row) or you can use values directly from the table by rounding the calculated values (as was done with the Average Depth column), but the following rules must be followed: o Rounding: The calculated Average Depth value would be rounded down to an average depth value shown in the SA/DA table (in this case, 5.4 ft would round to 5.0 ft, not 6.0 ft) and the calculated %Impervious would be rounded up to a %impervious value shown in the SA/DA table (in this case, 46.9% would round to 50%). Rounding in this manner ensures that a conservative SA/DA value is chosen. o Interpolating: Table values can be linearly interpolated for specific calculated values of Average Depth and/or %Impervious. Please revise the average depth calculation & value (Line 28 of the Wet Pond Page of the Supplement-EZ Form) and redo the required minimum surface area calculation. - Supplement-EZ Form: o Wet Pond Page:  Line 28 – As noted above. o Low-Density Page:  Line 5 – The value shown (2.59 fps) does not correspond to the maximum velocity shown in the lower half of this page (2.72 fps). Reviews under the standard permitting process generally take 30 – 45 calendar days, but can take up to 90 calendar days per statute (our other reviewer, Corey Anen, no longer works for the State, so this review will probably be closer to 4 45 days than 30). Please upload all documents that you mailed into our office through the link provided below. Be sure to choose the Central Office as the Primary Contact office. https://edocs.deq.nc.gov/Forms/SW-Supplemental-Upload IMPORTANT NOTE: Please ensure that each file is uploaded under its appropriate file type. Additional file types can be entered into the electronic form by clicking on the “Add Another Post-Construction File Upload” link directly below the “State Stormwater Information Uploads” section of the form. Please do not upload entire plan sets through this form, but rather upload the relevant individual sheets under the appropriate file type. Selecting the correct file type ensures that the files are properly named in the electronic repository and it helps expedite the review process. Please type in permit #: SW6220101 If you have any questions, please contact Jim Farkas Jim.Farkas@ncdenr.gov 919-707-3646. At this time, the submission is not administratively complete and cannot be accepted for review in its current condition. Please provide the following submittal items within 30 calendar days (by close of business on 2/2/2022) so that we may accept the project and begin the review process, otherwise, the project will be returned as administratively incomplete. - Please fill out the entire site column of the Supplement-EZ Form (On the Drainage Areas Page). The entire site column summarizes all of the proposed BUA on-site (whether or not it drains to the proposed SCM) and is needed to ensure that sufficient BUA is being treated for this project (15A NCAC 02H .1002(43)). If there is proposed BUA on-site that does not drain to the proposed wet pond, this can be handled with a low-density area. - 2x signed & sealed hard copies of the plan sheets showing the following: o Drainage area map to the proposed wet pond. This information is required per Section VI, 8o of the Application and 15A NCAC 02H .1042(2)(g)(iv). NOTE: This is an administrative completeness review, not a detailed engineering review. The following items were noted during this review, but do not need to be addressed for this submission to be administratively complete and accepted for review (but these issues, and possibly others, will probably be brough up during the engineering review): - Please ensure that the off-site areas that are not bypassed around the SCM are accounted for at their full build- out potential (per 15A NCAC 02H 1003(3)(b)). This is typically handled by entering into a legal agreement with the off-site property owner to limit the amount of BUA on the portion of their property that drains to the SCM or by assuming that the off-site area is 100% BUA (Its full build out potential). It is recommended to bypass any off-site areas around the SCM. If these items are received within the stipulated timeframe, we can accept the project and begin the review process. Once accepted, reviews under the standard permitting process generally take 30 – 45 calendar days, but can take up to 90 calendar days per statute (one of our two reviewer positions is currently vacant so this review will probably be closer to 45 days than 30).
