Mason <tmherndon@ncdot.gov> Subject: RE: C204553 (R-3300B) Pipe Crossings _ Parcel 82&87 Reclamation Plan Ben, I appreciated being able to meet out onsite last week to discuss this proposal from the contractor. After our discussions out onsite with the agencies and further discussion with Mason, we have concluded that it is necessary to remain consistent in not allowing for additional project impacts from borrow sites. Ensuring we do not have additional impacts from borrow/waste/staging sites is not only important for maintaining compliance with our permits (see attached permit condition No. 8 from our Individual Permit) but also for remaining consistent with the precedence that has been set and maintained in the design, permitting and construction of previous and future projects. Please let me know if I need to provide any further clarification on this. Haga <jhaga@rkk.com> Subject: C204553 (R-3300B) Pipe Crossings _ Parcel 82&87 Reclamation Plan Sean, Conti has asked if they could extend or add additional pipe crossings for the relatively permanent water ditches within the Pit D area. We have already replaced the one existing pipe crossing as noted. The approved 82&87 reclamation plan detailed creating small bridges to span the RPWs. I am sure this will be brought up at the ride-through on Thursday, which would be a good opportunity to review and discuss with the agencies. Let me know if you have any questions.
