REQUEST FOR MORE INFORMATION:
REVISED STORMWATER MANAGEMENT PLAN
Dear Mr. Pulliam:
On July 6, 2007, the Division of Water Quality issued a 401 Certification for this project to place
fill within or otherwise impact 0.002 acres of 404/wetland and 229 linear feet of perennial
stream. As a part of the 401 Approval, the DWQ approved a stormwater management plan for
this project.
On August 20, 2007, the DWQ received a revised stormwater management plan for Outlot
Number One: Southern Community Bank. The DWQ has determined that the revised
stormwater management plan is incomplete as described below.
Additional Information Requested:
1. Please provide a velocity dissipater device at the inlet to the bioretention area so that
the area will not erode.
2. Please specify that the P-index of the engineered soil media for the bioretention area
will be between 10 and 30.
The DWQ will require the above additional information to finalize review of the stormwater
management plan for the subject property. Please provide the following information so that we
