RE: Description of Micrositing Changes referenced in 11/04/22 Mr. Seltzer email to Mr.
Scarbraugh
Description of the micrositing changes follows:
• Dominion Switchyard — shifted the footprint southwest approx. 60' and resized to smaller
dimensions. Shortened length of access road.
• Turbines — several turbines were shifted to avoid the proposed turbine foundations
encroaching on nearby existing ditches. All turbine shifts were within the FAA allowable
1aresec buffer to avoid having to refile for FAA approvals.
Upland turbines
Turbine T-40 (uplands) - shifted 60' southeast to avoid farmer's irrigation pivot
that was installed after recent irrigation pivot equipment was installed. No change
in wetland or ditch impact amounts. Nudged within FAA allowable 1aresec buffer.
Turbine T-20 - shifted 25' southeast to avoid permanent ditch disturbance with
turbine foundation.
Turbine T-44 - shifted 40' south to avoid permanent ditch disturbance with turbine
foundation.
Wetland Turbines
Turbine T-18 (WY tract) - shifted 25' northwest to avoid permanent ditch
disturbance with turbine foundation.
Turbine T-21 (WY tract) - shifted 40' northwest to avoid permanent ditch
disturbance with turbine foundation.
Turbine T-29 (WY tract) - shifted 50' northwest to avoid permanent ditch
disturbance with turbine foundation.
MET Tower southeast of T-33 — truncated gravel pad bringing disturbance Limit Of
Disturbance 5' back away from ditch edge.
