Inspection Summary:
On December 5, 2022, Division of Water Resources staff Caitlin Caudle conducted a site visit to review the subject facility for
permit recission purposes. Ms. Caudle reviewed the residuals storage structure and residuals conveyance to Yadkin Valley
Sewer Authority's collection system. Travis Butcher, Director of Public Works, was present during the entire site visit.
All wasting pipes from the WTP converge at a singular manhole, which gravity feeds to the open atmosphere storage
structure. There is a wet well beside the storage structure which has floats to control transfer of residuals from the storage
structure to the collection system. The section of the collection system where residuals enter gravity feeds to a larger pump
station. There are no other outlets or storage structures that must be addressed.
