Mr. Tankard,
Thank you for allowing the Eagle Creek WWTP the opportunity to respond to the following Notice of
Violation, issued November 9, 2022; received on November 14, 2022. Below is our response to the
limit exceedance violations) that occurred during the August 2022 monitoring period for a Turbidity
Daily Maximum Exceedance.
Date Limit Value Reported Type of Violation
Value
8/1/2022 10
15.7 Daily Maximum Exceeded
8/3/2022 10
10.3 Daily Maximum Exceeded
8/8/2022 10
16.9 Daily Maximum Exceeded
813012022 10
14.3 Daily Maximum Exceeded
8/31/2022 10
17.5 Daily Maximum Exceeded
The above values reported for the month of August were due in part to the meter sensor needing to
be cleaned. The sensor is in the corner of the plant where there is a dense bug population that has
recently introduced debris. The ORC has increased the monitoring, cleaned the area, and applied
insecticide to help reduce the bug population and prevent the accumulation of debris.
It is always our goal to remain in compliance with regulations set forth by the Division of Water
Resources. It is our request that our cooperation and action in these matters be considered by the
Division when proceeding with enforcement.
Sincerely,
1SiitGi/JG/
