Comments:
We purchased this property in Nov. 2021 with the deck already in place.
Unfortunately, this deck was constructed by a previous owner without obtaining any
permits. The home itself was built in 1995 (which I understand may have been prior
to the imposition of this stream buffer), But we are unable to confirm the year in which
the deck was constructed. We know for sure it was there in 2002
(https://www.historicaerials.com/viewer). We have not made any alterations to the
deck, nor do we plan to do so going forward. We are requesting an after the fact
authorization for the portion of the existing slatted wooden deck within zone 2 of the
intermittent stream within the property boundary.

Please find the attached pic showing the stream width (3 Ft) and marked up survey
with dimensions and measurements for Zone 1, Zone 2and the intersecting area.
The dimension from CL to the edge(top of bank) would be 1.5 feet. Hence, I have
marked zone 1 at 31.5 feet from the CL of the stream and zone 2 ending at 51.5 feet
from the CL.
