My name is Brittany Carson and I am the General Permits Coordinator for the Industrial Stormwater Program at NC DEQ. We received two applications for coverage under General Permit NCG130000 for Mila’s Trucking Company and Noblett LLC. Upon initial review of these applications, it was noted that these applications are missing at least one outfall listed in Section 4 of the application. Please email me the outfall information for both of these facilities, this includes the coordinates, brief description of industrial activities that drain to this outfall, and where vehicle maintenance occurs at the drainage of this outfall. We require at least one outfall to be eligible for coverage. If you do not know where your outfall is, a typical definition we use is “a discreet place where stormwater converges at the edge of your property”. 1 Please let me know if you have any questions, Brittany Carson General Industrial Stormwater Permit Coordinator Stormwater Program, Division of Energy, Mineral, and Land Resources N.C.
