The 2021 Residuals Annual Report for Granville Farms Land Application of Class B
Residuals program was reviewed by WQROS staff on October 28, 2022. The report was
received on February 28, 2022. A signed certification form was submitted and indicated
compliance. The report was compiled and submitted by Soil Plus, LLC.
In 2021, Granville Farms collected and distributed approximately 3476.88 dry tons
of residuals sourced from facilities listed in Attachment A of the permit to 58 fields listed in
Attachment B of the permit comprising 952.26 acres.
Metals and Nutrients analyses were completed as required with no exceedances of
limits.
TCLP analyses were completed for all source facilities where these analyses are
required by the permit except for the Kerr Lake Regional Water Treatment Plant. TCLP
analyses is only required once per permit cycle for this facility, so the absence of these
analyses in the report is not a permit condition violation.
Pathogen and Vector Attraction reduction is required for all source facilities except
three and was conducted for all source facilities as required by the permit.
The report was received on time and in the proper format. At the time of the report
review the facility appeared compliant with the annual report requirement.
