We were just outside of the wetland with the trackhoe. The attached picture shows the surveyed boundary of the
wetland. Sorry for the false alarm. The Resident's office will ensure that all wetlands are staked and the orange fence is
properly installed. Let me know if you need anything further.

Dave and Eric,
While I was on vacation, we had an issue on the Julian Road widening project (U-5738) with a trackhoe getting into a
wetland that was not supposed to be impacted. I believe the wetland is adjacent to permit sites 1A and 113. The area
was restored as directed by our Roadside Engineer, Phil Suggs. It was mulched and seeded with native riparian seed
mix. I have requested a full account of what happened and will share that with you as soon as I get it.
