Enclosed you will find picture of the clean up of trash and sediment build-up. The
grass has been mowed. The 50' filter strip has been cut and cleaned up also. We
have started a monthly maintenance file that will be kept on computer at the Cedar
point location along with pictures.

The report summarizes the findings of a recent inspection of the project's stormwater controls
conducted on February 11, 2008 to determine compliance with Stormwater Permit No.
SW8 900232 issued on November 5, 2007.
The required actions that are necessary to correct any deficiencies are noted under the

Report". The report summarizes the findings of a recent inspection of the project's stormwater controls
conducted on March 18, 1999, to determine compliance with Stormwater Management Permit Number SW8
970401 issued on July 16, 1997.
A summary of the findings and comments are noted under Section 6 of the report. Please inform this
Office in writing before May 5, 1999 of the specific actions that will be undertaken and the time frame
required to correct the deficiencies. Failure to provide the requested information or to respond to this request

STORMWATER COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT
1. Project Name: Cedar Point Building Supply
Project Number: SW8 970401 Control Measure: an infiltration basin
Water Body: Boathouse Creek Classification: SA
Directions to site, address: Sherwood Avenue, off NCSR 1113 (Old Highway 58) in Cape
Carteret, in the Industrial Park.
2. Inspection Date: March 18, 1999
Weather Conditions: Cool, sunny
3. Compliance Issues:
a. The vegetation on the basin slopes and bypass swales was sparse. Erosion was very evident.
b. Because the perforated distribution piping was not installed, there are large silt plumes in the
basin at each pipe entrance.
4. PE Certification Received? 4/6/98 Deed Restrictions Received? n/a
5. Required Action:
a. Repair and vegetate the basin side slopes and bypass swales.
b. Remove the silt plumes. Consider installing the perforated piping if the silt accumulation at
the pipe inlets becomes a continuous maintenance item.

1. The permit was reissued with an expiration date of 11/5/2017.
2. The areas around the inlets to the basin had trash and evidence of sediment build-up. This should be kept clean as required.
3. The grass was dormant at this time, however, you could tell that it was well vegetated.
4. The 50' vegetated filter strip was in need of routine maintenance.
5. Operation and Maintenance records were not being kept as required by your permit. You should at once develop and maintain
a record keeping system as required in your permit.
