EROSION CONTROL NARRATIVE
THIS PROPOSED PROJECT CONSISTS OF CLEARING AND GRADING ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATED
WITH CONSTRUCTION OF A CONCRETE PLANT. ACCESS TO THIS SITE WILL BE
PROVIDED BY TWO NEW DRIVEWAYS OFF OF BURTON PARK BOULEVARD. TEMPORARY
GRAVEL CONSTRUCTION ENTRANCES WALL BE INSTALLED AT THIS SITE ACCORDING TO
STATE SPECIFICATIONS.
THE EXISTING TOPOGRAPHIC NATURE OF THIS SITE IS GENERALLY LEVEL TO SLOPING.
AN EXISTING HIGH POINT BISECTS THE SITE AND STORMWATER IS CONVEYED NORTH
AND SOUTH FROM THIS RIDGE. ALONG THE PROPOSED SOUTHERN PROPERTY LINE,
AN EXISTING MAN-MADE DRAINAGE FEATURE COLLECTS STORMWATER BUT DOES NOT
DISCHARGE THE STORMWATER WILL TYPICALLY INFILTRATE INTO THE SOIL DURING DRY
PERIODS.
THE PROPOSED EROSION CONTROL AND STORMWATER MEASURES AT THE CONCRETE
PLANT SITE WILL CONVEY STORMWATER TO TWO (2) STORMWATER WET PONDS. BMP
1 WILL BE LOCATED EAST OF THE PLANT AND BMMPP 2 WILL BE LOCATED NORTH OF
THE PLANT. EACH BMP WALL OUTLET TO EXISTING DRAINAGE FEATURES.
SEDIMENTATION AND EROSION CONTROL WALL BE MAINTAINED ON THIS PROPERTY BY
UTILIZING A TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION ENTRANCE, SILT FENCING, TREE PROTECTION
FENCING, ARC FILTERS, AND ROCK CHECK DAMS.

7. INSTALL STORM SEWER AND PROTECT INLETS WITH ROCK PIPE INLET
PROTECTION. SILT FENCING OR OTHER APPROVED MEASURES AS SHOWN
