Off of Cross Creek Rd turn on Dogwood Trail. Keep Rt. on Dogwood
Trail and follow road until it intersects with Cross Creek Trail. Turn on to
Cross Creek Trail and take road to property. Property is the vacant lot just
after 232 Cross Creek Trail.

5. Describe the existing land use or condition of the site at the time of this application:*
Lot is currently undeveloped with vegetation throughout. Approximately
3/4 of an acre with approximately 200 feet of frontage on Lake Santeetlah.
Residential, undeveloped, etc.

7. Describe proposed work (include discussion as to how hardening of shoreline has been avoided, or
why it is necessary):
We will be building a house of the lot and we are looking to secure the
shore with natural large rocks to prevent erosion of the shoreline.
Vegetation will be removed but some if it will be replaced with native
plants/trees/bushes to blend in with the shoreline around the lake. We have
200 ft of frontage that we will be clearing and stabilizing. We will be
using a local contract who is very familiar with all the requirements for the
lake.

We will be removing approximately 9 mature trees and bushes/plants
along 50 feet of the shoreline.

Application Fee:
Once the application has been accepted. You will need to send a corresponding fee in with the appropriate DWR#. The
application fee is as follows (pursuant to G.S. 143-215.3D):
o $240.00 for impacts to lake (below normal water level) of less than 1 acre
o $570.00 for impacts to lake (below normal water level) of greater or equal to 1 acre
