Mr. Davidson,

This letter is in response to your 11-8-22 letter to Mountaintop Community Association
attached.

Per your letter the 8-2-22 sample event exceeded the daily max for NH3N of 6 mg/L with
a 14.4 mg/L. Even with two additional samples of 0.12 mg/L and 0.13 mg/L, we
exceeded the monthy average of 4 mg/L with a 4.54 mg/L.

On 8/16/22 we exceeded the daily maximum BOD of 15 mg/L with a 17.8 mg./L and a
Fecal daily maximum of 25 #/100ml with a 36 #/100ml.

All exceedances were due to seasonal variations in flows and temperature causing poor
settability at times and excessive recirculation of tertiary backwash. We made dissolved
oxygen adjustments as needed and collected two more rounds of samples to comply with
the monthly limits for BOD and fecal.
