THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR FOLLOWING THIS CONSTRUCTION SEQUENCE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
APPROVED PLANS, THE SPECIAL PROVISIONS PROVIDED, OR AS DIRECTED BY THE ENGINEER.
1. OBTAIN ALL APPLICABLE PERMITS, SEND PROPER NOTIFICATIONS, SCHEDULE A PRE -CONSTRUCTION MEETING WITH
NORTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY, FAYE17EVILLE REGIONAL OFFICE AT (910) 433-3300,
AND OBTAIN NOTICE TO PROCEED.
2. CONSTRUCT RESIDENTIAL TEMPORARY GRAVEL ENTRANCES/EXITS.
3. MARK CONSTRUCTION LIMITS AND ALL PROTECTED AREAS. INSTALL ORANGE TREE PROTECTION FENCING AROUND
RIPARIAN BUFFER ZONES.
4. PRIOR TO ANY LAND DISTURBANCE ACTIVITIES INSTALL ALL PERIMETER EROSION CONTROL MEASURES SUCH AS
TEMPORARY SILT FENCE AND SILT FENCE OUTLETS.
5. INSTALL CURB INLET PROTECTION AT ALL CURB INLETS LOCATED DOWN GRADIENT FROM THE SITE. INSTALL PIPE
INLET PROTECTION AND YARD/DROP INLET PROTECTION AS APPLICABLE.
6. CLEAR, GRUB, AND GRADE THE LOTS. STOCKPILE TOPSOIL AT A LOCATION SHOWN IN PLANS OR AS APPROVED
BY THE ENGINEER. HAVE STOCKPILE SURROUNDED WITH SILT FENCE AND SEEDED WITHIN 21 DAYS.
7. OWNER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR KEEPING STREETS FREE OF SEDIMENT AND DEBRIS DURING THE CONSTRUCTION
PROCESS.
8. PROVIDE GROUND COVER ON ALL EXPOSED SLOPES IN ACCORDANCE TO THE GROUND STABILIZATION TABLE.
9. AFTER THE SITE HAS STABILIZED REMOVE ALL SILT FENCE. RE -SEED AND MULCH AS NECESSARY.
10. CALL NORTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY, FAYETTEVILLE REGIONAL OFFICE AT (910)
433-3300 FOR FINAL INSPECTION TO OBTAIN A CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION.
