Please provide the Division with a copy of your complete response to the August 15, 2022, Request for Additional Information from the US Army Corps of Engineers. This includes updated impact PCN, maps, and tables following the completion of the updated survey mentioned in your September 7, 2022, response to the USACE. [15A NCAC 02H .0502(c)] 2. It is difficult to understand the location and extent of jurisdictional features on the project maps in relation to the proposed impacts. Please provide a site map that locates all wetlands, streams, and other waters of the State as overlays on the site plan(s). The use of colors, highlights, hatching, and/or shading may prove useful. [15A NCAC 02H .0502(9)] 3. Please provide more details regarding avoidance and minimization of stream and wetland impacts for this project. [15A NCAC 02H .0506(b)(1)] 4. Please provide a copy of the USGS topographic map for the site. It appears that aerial photos were submitted on the map pages that state they are from the USGS topographic map. [15A NCAC 02H .0502(c)] 5. Please provide additional information regarding the proposed After the Fact impacts. For instance, are the culverts buried to allow for the passage of aquatic life? [15A NCAC 02H .0502(c)] 6. I'm not understanding the necessity of the "Road Crossing" in impact C of 32LF other than as an after -the -fact impact. What is the purpose of this crossing moving forward? Could this culvert be removed? [15A NCAC 02H .0506(b)] 7. I'm also not understanding the necessity of the "Road Crossing" in Impact Area F of 50LF other than as an after - the -fact impact. There is a newly proposed crossing is in the same area, and the existing crossing doesn't appear to lead to anywhere. What is the purpose of this crossing moving forward? Could this culvert be removed? [15A NCAC 02H .0506(b)] 8. Stream SA is listed as "Intermittent" on the impact table for Stream Impacts B, C, and F. Please provide supporting documentation for this call, such as DWR stream forms and photos. [15A NCAC 02H .0502(c)] 9. Please note that responses to the above questions may result in an additional request for information to ensure that the project is fully evaluated.
