Inspection Summary:
Inspection was in response to an application for coverage under the NCG05. The facility manufactures packaging for
pharmaceutical products. All manufacturing processes take place inside the facility. All products, chemicals, machinery, etc
are stored inside the facility. No staining was observed. A spill kit was present. The inside of the site was very neat during
the inspection. No issues with housekeeping were observed.
All waste glues, dyes, rags and used oil are stored in a designated area, in proper secondary containment. All containers
were capped.
The facility applied for an NCG05 mainly because of the air scrubber/dust collector located at the rear of the facility. All
waste collected in the scrubber is collected in a trash receptacle. The system is closed, however, there have been instances
where small pieces of paper waste escape. No trash or waste materials were observed around the outside of the building.
The site contacts plan to take a stormwater sample from a concrete curb inlet/chute that discharges to an adjacent parking
lot. There are many other warehouses adjacent to the facility and facility contacts to not want to sample comingled
stormwater. There should be no issues with collecting this sample from their designated location.
Coverage under the NCG05 is recommended.
