GeoScience & Technology, PA designed the stream bank stabilization and, during the
construction, performed periodic tests of the compaction of the soils.
This is to advise you that we have inspected the site upon completion, and find that the
construction is in general keeping with the design, with two modifications:
• The elevations in the field were found to be slightly different from contours taken
for the design from Forsyth County GIS, so, with our approval, the elevation of
the transition from gabions to soil lifts was adjusted accordingly,
• With our approval, galvanized gabion baskets were substituted for plastic coated,
since there were no plastic coated baskets available. There should be no
appreciable difference in the performance.

The site has been vegetated. The plant stakes are installed, though they are still dormant.
