In response to your NO1IC1; OF VIOLA I ION 1\10V-2022-P('-0425 (or William Powell 1/2 Farm (82-
268) dated September 22. 2022. I submit the following responses to the violation and explanation of the
incident and corrective action. 1 apologize fir the tardiness of this response: I misplaced the letter.
Violation 1:
Failure to maintain waste levels in my lagoons in accordance with the CAWMP.
I have had irrigation pump problems for quite some time which caused my lagoon to get in the red. As
you are aware. COVIL) disruptions have made getting parts and services very difficult. I had to wait
While to get the parts to repair my pump and had gotten it repaired just before the inspection and had
pumped a couple days at my other farm lira. 1 had documented the freeboard level and contacted Curtis
Barwick that I was at the red peg (19") the day prior to the inspection. Overnight the level crept into the
red by the time; Mr. Guyton arrived. As he can attest. I moved my equipment in immediately and was
setting up my reel t0 pump as he was leaving the farm. I immediately brought my lagoon level to 25and
have staved down since that time. Mr. Barwick prepared a POA for this incident.
1 regret that this incident occurred and that 1 did not rent another pump during this clown -time. In this
occurs in the future I vi11 consider renting equipment to get my lagoons pumped down.
