Our Brandywine Bay treatment facility is currently operating under the permit WQ0007569 issued on March 17, 2021. Our operations team recently noticed the issued permit included a Monthly Average limit for Total Nitrate listed for the current plant (a new SBR plant is currently under construction and new limits were included once it is operational). Data for this parameter has been entered monthly in the DMR, but was previously listed as monitor only. After a conversation with the regional office, it was believed that this limit was accidentally listed in the current limits instead of the new plant limits. We were hoping that a correction/modification could done and the permit be reissued if it would not be too much trouble. If you have questions or concerns (or if I did not explain it very well above) feel free to give myself or Anthony Futrell (Area Manager of Brandywine Bay) a call.
