Good afternoon Charles, My husband and I reside at 532 Olive Branch Road in Durham. I recently reached out to you via phone with concerns regarding our sand filtration septic system. I've been in contact with the Division of Water Resources, as well as the Division of Waste Management, in addition to someone Involved with underground storage tanks. Unfortunately, no one is familiar with our permit or annual inspection. Our concerns stem from the development and blasting that has been occuring most of this year from our rear property line and beyond. The pipe that we placed our tablets in for our sand filtration septic system has been run over by large equipment during the development phase, therefore there is certainly damage to our system. With this being said, I'm trying to move up our inspection from whatever department is responsible for renewing this septic permit to address this issue sooner than later. We refuse to be held liable or financially responsible for damage done, environmental or otherwise, by the development company. If you can assist with this matter, please let me know as soon as possible, or we would greatly appreciate some direction as to who would be the best contact to mitigate thls issue.
