treatment plant under normal circumstances, given the implementation of the planned improvements
identified in the planning assessment where applicable. This analysis has been performed in accordance
with local established policies and procedures using the best available data. This certification applies to
those items listed above in Sections I and II plus all attached planning assessment addendums for which I
am the responsible party. Signature of this form certifies that the receiving collection system or treatment

Hey Zach,
We went back through with OWASA and confirmed we won't have any private main on the project. I've revised the
cover letter (attached) and also attached the updated FTA. I hope we have everything straight this time. Apologies for
all the mishaps we've had on this one.

Hi Connor,
I am finishing up the review of the updated application and wanted to get clarification on your narrative
information. The narrative states that the application is including 47 LF of 8" PRIVATE sewer and 2989 LF of 8" PUBLIC
sewer. If the 47 LF is indeed privately owned, then it will need to be permitted under a separate private permit and not
included in this public application.
Please confirm if the 47 LF of 8" PVC is private or not.
Thank you!

Hello,
Jason and I spoke about your wetland question (IX ##3) and if you cannot meet the separation requirements found in 2T
.0305 (f), then you should look at .0305 (g)(5) which requires that the line will meet water main standards (15A NCAC
18C). This will include watertight joints and tested to water main standards. IF the line meets all of this, then you would
select the "yes" box for this answer.

Subject: WQ0043748 - Aura Chapel Hill (Orange/OWASA)
Hello,
After a review of the submitted_ sewer extension application for _the _Aura Chapel Hill proiect, we have the following
questions:
1. Section VI #2 was answered "yes", but no DOA-DEV form was submitted with the application. If OWASA will
remain the applicant, then this question should have been answered "no" and no form is needed. Please
confirm that this was answered "yes" in error.
This was answered yes in error. This is NA as the applicant is not a developer of lots to be sold.
. Section VI #7 lists an establishment type of "Restaurant, Full Service" with a correct daily design flow of
40gal/seat/day with SO units. However, the application has an incorrect value of 200 GPD for the flow
column. This should be a value of 2000 GPD, which would make the total flow a value of 113,976 GPD. Please
update this value to reflect the correct flow amounts.
This calculation and value have been updated.
3. Section VI #8 currently states a value for WW generated by project as 170,056 GPD. This number does not
match the table flow stated in #7 (both before the change in flow value for "restaurant, full service" or
after). Please explain where this value was obtained and/or please correct if entered in error.
The value was incorrect and has been revised
4. The signed FTSE sheet will also need to be updated to reflect the correct added flow value for this project. It
currently states in line Lf. a value of 112,176 GPD. Please update this value to reflect the correct flow amount.
This value has been corrected.
S. Section IX #4 currently states "no". This answer should be "yes" as it falls within the Jordan Lake buffered
basin. Please correct this answer to reflect this information and answer the next part regarding if the project
complies with appropriate setbacks.
This section hos been revised.
It may be best to correct and submit a new "page 2 of 5" & "page 4 of 5" & "signed FTSE page 1+2 of 6" for final
review. Please ensure that all parties are aware of the updates and confirm approval of the changes before submitting.
Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to discuss any of the above items.
Thank you,
Zach Thomas
