Dear Mr. Blevins:
On August 28, 2000, I met with you and Leigh Potts at the subject property to conduct a site visit for the
above referenced project. This project is referenced by the Raleigh Regional Office as NBRRO 00 -290.
It was determined that the is one feature on site that is an intermittent stream.
The Neuse River Basin: Nutrient Sensitive Waters Management Strategy; Protection and Maintenance of
Existing Riparian Areas, Administrative Code T15A:02B.0233 (NCAC 0233) states that water bodies that
are at least intermittent are subject to protection. Therefore, this Feature is subject to buffer protection as
delineated on the map received by this Office on October 26.
Please be reminded that a PreConstruction Notification and the appropriate fee must be transmitted and
approved prior to any impacts to the buffer. This letter addresses only the Neuse Riparian Buffer. FOR
information regarding wetland issues please contact someone at 733 -1786. Thank you for your attention to
