On October 10, 2000 I met with you at the subject site and conducted an evaluation of the features
represented on the Wake County Soils and the USGS Raleigh West Quad maps were evaluated to
determine their subjectivity to the Neuse Buffer Rule. Two features are depicted on both of the
maps. This project is referenced by the Raleigh Regional Office as NBRRO 00 -300.
i",: One feature is the western property boundary and the other becomes subject at a point labeled NBR
100 . Both features are streams and as such is subject to protection under the Neuse River Basin:
TJNutrient Sensitive Waters Management Strategy; Protection and Maintenance of Existing Riparian
' Areas, Administrative Code T15A:02B.0233 (NCAC 0233).
The features are delineated on the map received by this Office on October 12, 2000. This letter only
addresses the applicability of the Neuse Buffer Rules. Thank you for your attention to this matter
