* Dear Ms.Burns:
' On May 24, 2000, I met with you at the subject property to conduct a site visit for the above
referenced project. These properties are referenced by the Raleigh Regional Office as NBRRO 00-
164.
- The features represented on the County Soils and the USGS maps were evaluated to determine their
subjectivity to the Tar Pamlico Buffer Rule. As a result, it was determined that there are two
features depicted that are subject to protection under the Tar Pamlico River Basin:Nutrient Sensitive
Waters Management Strategy; Protection and Maintenance of Existing Riparian Areas,
Administrative Code T15A:02B.0259 (NCAC 0259). These features have been designated and
marked on the ground and delineated on the maps received by this Office.
This letter only addresses the applicability of the Tar Pamlico Buffer Rules. Thank you for your
attention to this matter and if this Office can be of any assistance or if you have additional questions,
