The information that was received by the Raleigh Regional Office on May 25, 2000 has been reviewed. The
plat map and other information was provided to allow a determination to be made as to whether or not the
site would require compliance with the Neuse Buffer Rule. This specific project is referenced by the Raleigh
Regional Office as NBRRO 00 -160.
The features represented on the Wake County Soils and the bayleaf USCS Quad maps were evaluated to
determine their subjectivity to the Neuse buffer Rule. It was determined that there are two named creeks
depicted on each of the maps. Therefore, according the Rule, the features located on this property are
subject to the Neuse Qiver basin: Nutrient Sensitive Waters Management Strategy; Protection and
Maintenance of Existing Qiparian Areas, Administrative Code T15A:0213.0233 (NCAC 0233) .
The required 50 foot. "Neuse Qiparian buffer" has been delineated on the preliminary plat map. This letter
addresses only the applicability of those requirements. For information relevant to 401 and/or wetland
