S & E C Project # 00 -5207
Wake County
Dear Mr. Jelenevsky:
This letter will serve as confirmation of the buffer determination made April 3, 2000, when I met
with you at the subject property. This project is referenced by the Raleigh Regional Office as
NBRRO 00-093.
The features represented on the Wake County Soils and the USGS Raleigh East maps were evaluated
to determine their subjectivity to the Neuse Buffer Rule. Four features are depicted on the soil map
but only one is subject. A point was flagged as the origin of the stream and above that point, the
feature is not subject although it there is a pond. This feature is a stream and as such is subject to
protection under the Neuse River Basin: Nutrient Sensitive Waters Management Strategy; Protection
and Maintenance of Existing Riparian Areas, Administrative Code T15A:02B.0233 (NCAC 0233).
The unnamed tributary is delineated on the map received by this Office on April 11, 2000. This
letter only addresses the applicability of the Neuse Buffer Rules. Thank you for your attention to
this matter and if this Office can be of any assistance or if you have additional questions, please do
not hesitate to contact us.
