Cedar Creek Project

Dear Mr. Athanas:
DIVISION OF WATER QUALITY
RALEIGH REGIONAL OFFICE
I met with you onsite to conduct a site visit of the property involved in the above referenced project. It was
determined that the feature represented on the llSC8 and Wake County Soils maps is a creek and as such is subject
to the Neuse river Basin: Nutrient Sensitive Waters Management strategy; Protection and Maintenance of Existing
riparian Areas, Administrative Code T15&.02b.0233 (NCAC 0233). The fifty foot buffer has been delineated on the plat
map received by this Office on April 13, 2000.
Please note, depending on the linear feet or acreage involved in this project, there may be jurisdictional wetlands or
waters that may require concurrence with the Corps of En8ineers. This letter only addresses the applicability of the
Neuse Buffer rules. For information relative to the Wetlands 401 /404 issues, please contact Mr. John Dorney at 919-
7331786.
Thank you for your attention to this matter and if this Office can be of any assistance or ifyou have additional questions,
please do not hesitate to contact us.
sincere
Steve Mitchell
