The property and date of timber sale are as follows: Approximately 24 acres of the 48 acres recorded in the Nash County Registry was sold at sealed bid on December 2, 1999 and closed on December 15, 1999. Based on the materials provided, the Raleigh Regional Office of the Division_of Water Quality believes that the proposed logging activities are not required to comply with the requirements of the temporary riparian rule as long as the timber deed listed above remains valid and Forest Practice Guidelines are followed in conjunction with Best Management Practices.
