Dear Mr. Sullivan:
On April 4, 2000, I met with you at the subject property to conduct a site visit for the above
referenced project. This project is referenced by the Raleigh Regional Office as NBRRO 00 -083.
At your request, an evaluation was performed to determine if the features depicted on the Bayleaf
and Wake Forest USGS and the Wake County Soils Maps would require compliance with the Neuse
River Basin: Nutrient Sensitive Waters Management Strategy; Protection and Maintenance of
Existing Riparian Areas, Administrative Code T15A:02B.0233 (NCAC 0233). .
As a result, it was determined that the feature delineated on the maps was not present on the ground
as a stream and therefore not subject to the Neuse Buffer Rules. This delineation is relevant to the
location of the driveway that will provide access to Lot 9 on Benthill Place.
