MEMORANDUM
TO: Allen Wahab
FROM: Randy Dodd 1)
SUBJECT: Gaston County 201 Facilities Plan
Project No. C370378-01
I have completed a review of the Gaston County 201 Facilities
Plan and would like to make the following comments.
- In Section III Discussions on Fishes & General Water
Quality, and Botanical are missing from the Environmental
considerations
- The plan calls for alum for chemical phosphorus removal.
Was biological phosphorus removal evaluated? In all likeli-
hood, biological removal is cost-effective.
- In Section IV, Page IV-3 states that there are 17 permitted
dischargers in the Crowders Creek Drainage Basin. According
to our files, there are 24 permitted dischargers.
- The Technical Support recommended effluent limits
