Was biological phosphorus removal evaluated? In all likeli- hood, biological removal is cost-effective. - In Section IV, Page IV-3 states that there are 17 permitted dischargers in the Crowders Creek Drainage Basin. According to our files, there are 24 permitted dischargers. - The Technical Support recommended effluent limits BODS = NH3-N = NH3-N D.O. _ TSS = Fecal = pH = Lead = 13 mg/1 2 mg/1(summer) 10 mg/1(winter) 6 mg/1 30 mg/1 1000/100m1 6-9 SU 40 ug/1 are: Total P = 2 mg/1 TRC* = 19 ug/1(mo. avg.) TRC* = 37 ug/1(dly. max.) Chromium = 80 ug/1 Cadmium = 3.5 ug,'1 Cyanide = 9 ug/1 Nickel = 90 ug/1 'TRC= Total residual chlorine Technical Services is also recommending a quarterly chronic testing requirement as a condition of the permit.
