The North Carolina Division of Water Resources conducted an inspection of the PCS Phosphate Company
Tank Farm Remedial Action System on 11/03/2022. This inspection was conducted to verify that the
facility is operating in compliance with the conditions and limitations specified in Ground Water Permit
No. WI0700012. The findings and comments noted during this inspection are provided in the enclosed
copy of the inspection report entitled "Compliance Inspection Report".
There were no significant issues or findings noted during the inspection and therefore, a response to this
inspection report is not required.

Inspection Summary:
Tank Farm Remedial Action System inspection (WI0700012) conducted 11-03-2022 by David May. Chandler Stroud
represented Nutrien during the inspection. System components were reviewed including headworks and flowmeter,
operations log, the injection well system, and recovery well system. Recovery well volumes based on cycling frequency of
pumps, with recovered water recycled/reused within internal plant processes (for product recovery in part). Monitoring data
for April 2021 monitoring event evaluated with cross-reference of reported parameter concentrations against recorded
laboratory results. The tank farm remedial action system is being operated and maintained accordingly and in conformity
with permit requirements.
