Discharges into Little Sandy Creek. This stream is not on the 303d list for impaired streams. Facility is permitted for 0.004 MGD with limits of: BOD5 30 mg/1 NH3 monitor TSS 30 mg/1 Fecal 200/100m1 pH 6-9 SU Review of compliance data indicated that facility appears to be well operated. It has met all limits consistently. There were some exceedences of the flow limit in 1997, however comments on the DMRs indicated that there were plumbing leaks within the system. Upon repair of the leaks, flow limits of 0.004 MGD were back in compliance. School was under an SOC in 1995 and early 1996, for BOD5, TSS and fecal coliform. SOC expired in March 1996 and school has since met limits. Per Yadkin Basin Plan - Will include quarterly monitoring for TN and TP to gather data for determining a nutrient management strategy for High Rock Lake. Recommend renewal of the permit with all existing limits. All parameters and monitoring frequencies remain the same, with the exception of the addition of quarterly monitoring frequency for TN and TP.
