9. Corrective actions needed for S.P.C.A. and rules:
❑ a. Submit an approvable sedimentation and erosion control plan, including appropriate review fee, covering all areas
disturbed or to be disturbed.
❑ b. Follow approved plan requirements in regard to sequencing, measure installation, maintenance requirements etc.
❑ c. Submit a revised sedimentation and erosion control plan.
❑ d. Provide adequate permanent ground cover on all areas where development has been completed for 90 days. Please
note that merely planting grass seed does not satisfy the requirements of "vegetative cover" or of "ground cover sufficient
to restrain erosion." These requirements are not satisfied until an adequate cover of grass or other ground cover (such as
properly applied and secured, mulched seeding or appropriate rip -rap) is established which is, in fact, sufficient to restrain
accelerated or man-made erosion.
❑ e. Provide additional erosion and sediment control measures required to sufficiently to retain sediment on the tract.
❑ f. Install and/or maintain measures to protect public and private property.
❑ g. Provide an adequate stream buffer zone of sufficient width to confine visible sedimentation within the 25% of the buffer
nearer the land disturbance using natural or artificial means.
❑ h. Reduce the angle of graded slopes to an angle on which vegetative ground cover may be established.
❑ i. Provide temporary or permanent ground cover, devices, or structures sufficient to restrain erosion within up to 21
calendar days of completion of any phase of grading.
❑ j. Install and/or maintain all sedimentation and erosion control measures as specified in the approved plan and as required
to prevent sedimentation damage.
❑ k. Perform inspections of the area covered by the plan after each phase has been completed and after establishment of
temporary ground cover as required by land disturbance permit.
9. Additional Corrective Actions:
10. For Final Inspections Only:
❑ Permanent ground cover sufficient to restrain erosion has been established. No additional self -monitoring or self -
inspections are required. Protect is released and coverage under the NPDES General Stormwater Permit for
Construction Activities is terminated. This one would be for projects permitted prior to April 1, 2019.
M Permanent ground cover sufficient to restrain erosion has been established. No additional self -inspection or
monitoring is required and the project is released. If this project has a Certificate of Coverage (COC) under the NCG01
permit, then complete the electronic Notice of Intent (eNOT) form at deg.nc.gov/NCG01.
