Dear Landon,

This letter is in response to your 10-20-22 letter from 6-2-22 sampling notice of violation
to Laurel Mountain Retreat attached.

We had a BOD of 61.2 mg/L as noted on 6-2-22 without any noticeable reasons. We
requested Pace labs recheck their calculations and they confirmed the result was correct.
No other parameters were high as they would if the BOD was that high.

We collected 6 additional BODs during the month and all were below detection limits.

We will continue to make adjustments as needed for full compliance but this one is an
anomaly.
