Note: Nationwide Permits will expire and construction is not anticipated to be complete by the expiration.
Project has been advertised.
The previously issued 404 and 401 Permits (Permit Package) and Application Package are attached.
There have been no changes to design or impacts since the previously issued permits and the plans
submitted with the original application package remain accurate and valid.
Section 7
No changes to the list of federally -listed species and/or designated critical habitat for this
project has not changed since the application package was originally submitted on 7/28/2021.
Biological Conclusions are the following: NLEB: MA, LAA, Michaux's sumac: MA-NLAA, CMT, NRWD, AP, YL
and DWM: MA-NLAA. This has been approved by USFWS via email on 1/11/2021.
Archaeology and Historic Properties -There have been no changes to Archaeology and Historic Properties since
the previously issued permits.
Tribal Coordination has been completed with Catawba Indian Nation.
NCDOT is hereby requesting reverification under Nationwide Permit 14 and the appropriate WQC.
