Good afternoon Colleen!
Our client is ready to go ahead and pay the mitigation fees for the project. As permitted, we had an SOA for wetland
credits through RES (see attached 401 Approval). However, RES is currently lacking wetland credit availability, so
wetland credits for the project have now been reserved through Wildlands Holdings III, LLC (see attached updated SOA
and Invoice).
Can you please update the mitigation language in the 401 Approval to reflect that the project is now requesting
credits through Wildlands Holdings III, LLC and send the updated document back to me?

Wildlands Holdings III, LLC, owned and operated by Wildlands Engineering, Inc., currently has sufficient riparian
wetland credits from the Falling Creek Umbrella Mitigation Bank: Falling Creek Mitigation Site, Grantham
Branch Mitigation Site, and McClenny Acres II Mitigation Site to satisfy the wetland mitigation requirements
related to the above-mentioned project. The project is located within the Neuse River Basin of the service area
(HUC 03020201) of the Bank.
This letter is simply a statement of availability of credits as of the date written. We have the inventory as shown
above, however, this letter is not a guarantee of availability as credits will be sold on a first come, first serve
basis. An invoice for this transaction will be sent upon your request and we will formally reserve both the
credits and price quoted for a period of 30-days from the invoice.
Final transfer of the credits will be made upon receipt of a copy of the 401 Water Quality Certification and
Authorization Certificate from the NC Department of Environmental Quality-Division of Water Resources
approving the Stream mitigation purchase from the Bank and upon receipt of your payment to Wildlands
Holdings III, LLC (depending on availability at the time of permit issuance). We will then issue a credit transfer
certificate verifying your credit purchase to the North Carolina Division of Water Resources and to you for your
records.
