RE: 2021-2022 Annual Report Letter
Dear Mr. Reed:
Staff from the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) conducted
a compliance audit of the City of Raleigh National Pollutant Discharge Elimination
System (NPDES) Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Permit No.
NCS000245 on August 23-25, 2022. In response to this audit, a Notice of Compliance
(NOC-2023-PC-0930) was issued on September 30, 2022.
Per DEQ guidance and in lieu of a narrative report, the City of Raleigh is providing
this letter to satisfy the annual reporting requirements for the 2021-2022 reporting
period.
Furthermore, the City is in receipt of the Notice of Compliance letter and
acknowledge the stated permit renewal requirements and intend to comply as
presented in this letter.
