Re: REVISED Minor Variance Application AND Stormwater Management & Mitigation Plan
For Lots 17 ~ 18 in Carriage Hills Subdivision, In City of Raleigh
Dear Ms. Chapman:
As you and I discussed in our meeting on 12/14/06, the previous stormwater plan for NCDWQ
Project # 06-1360 has been revised slightly due to some additional surveyed field information and
also due to a change in the zoning setbacks and a shift in one of the property lines on Lot 18. As we
discussed I am submitting to you the revised documentation that you requested. Encased herewith
for your review are the following documents:
1) Variance Request Form for Minor Variances -Revised Application due to reasons
stated above (see original submittal for the USGS Quad Map as required);
2) Revised Stormwater Management Plan - 2 Copies on Half-Size Plansheets (includes
a revised summary of Applicant Mitigation Plan)
All other documentation as originally submitted is still applicable. Note that in this revised plan, the
actual proposed disturbance to Zone 2 of the buffer is less than that originally submitted; however the
Owner has already submitted his mitigation fee to the Ecosystem Enhancement Program. Per our
meeting, I have advised the Owner that, once this revised plan is approved, he may want to contact
the Ecosystem Enhancement Program to pursue his options for any refund if applicable. The revised
mitigation plan is summarized in the detailed notes on the Stormwater Management Plan.
