On November 9, 2014, the North Carolina Division of Water Resources (Division) received your request for
comments on Jordan Hydroelectric Limited Partnership's propos Water Quality Report for May — October,
2014 for the Jordan Hydroelectric Project, P-11437, dated November 9, 2014.
On October 4, 2006, the Division issued Certification No. 3059 to Mr. Jim Price of the Hydro Matrix Limited
Partnership. Condition #3 required the following:
Dissolved Oxygen and Temperatures shall be measured from the water discharged from the
project location from May 1 through October 30. Annual reports of the data shall be forwarded
to the Division. If after one year of monitoring of DO and temperature during operation these
levels meet state Water Quality Standards for these waters, monitoring may be discontinued."
The Division received your report and has no comments. Please continue to send an Annual Report
to this Office at 1617 MSC, Raleigh, NC 27699-1617.
