Thanks. Alan Johnson will be reviewing this project so I have copied him on your comments. By the way I did briefly
thumb through the applications and noticed the impact amounts of the PCN were not filled in for "open water
impacts" The amounts are listed on the maps however. Alan may need these to proceed but definitely check with him
first. I saw 12.95 acres of dredging for one and 1.34 acres for the other on the plans.

I will send Allen three sets of both the Beam and Berkowitz dredging projects tomorrow. If either of you need anything
else please do not hesitate to let me know.
We are anxious to begin ASAP. The City of Kings Mountain has notified us that they intend to begin raising the lake level
three months ahead of original schedule.

Berkowitz, to Alan Johnson at our DWR Mooresville Regional Office. He will be reviewing these projects
for approval. I am sending him copies of the application but I do I cannot make copies of the plans.
